The Rush

$120.00

Location
Baily Head, Deception Island - Antarctica 2014

Information
Baily head is home to the largest permanent penguin colony in Antarctica, once estimated to be over 100,000 penguins strong, it’s now below 50,000. Despite the diminished numbers, the action on the shoreline is awash with penguin groups emerging and departing, as well as regular Antarctic fur seals interrupting the precessions. Collisions between penguins are a common occurrence, and the flurries of penguin down and dust enhances the madness of the rush in the breaks.
